When working on a project you have extra space on the top shelves for packaging equipment and supplies or work tools.  The lower shelf is ideal for storing bulkier items.  We sell these kits with and without parts bins, simply choose your size and then select 'without bins' or the colour of bins you require. These benches are strong, 15mm chipboards on lower shelf(s) and 1.5mm thick steel, but also very easy to assemble being boltless and using rivets - rivets are the original way this type of shelving was designed, just as strong as the more modern 'stamped out butterflies' but way easier to put together.  The only reason that rivets are not so popular nowadays is that it's more expensive to manufacture as it’s a two stage process, whereas stamping out the butterfly can be done when the beam is rolled.
