Why Choose Value Garage Floor Tiles?
Easy DIY Installation
  • Simply tap together the jigsaw design to create a clean, tight surface with no adhesives or special tools needed.
Strength & Durability
  • The 12mm thick tile supports up to 3,350kg per tile, ideal for cars, tool boxes and motorbikes.
Chemical & Slip Resistant
  • Designed to resist oils, solvents, and chemicals while the non-slip coin disc surface creates a safe environment.
Low Maintenance & Hygienic
  • Easy to clean and maintain, these interlocking floor tiles can be easily transferred or replaced.
Insulates and Protects Your Floor
  • The “honey cone” base helps to insulate cold floors and protect your subfloor from damage caused by dropped tools or equipment.

Please note: We recommend using darker colours in high traffic areas due to potential tyre marking and the need for regular cleaning.

If exposed to prolonged direct sunlight (heat) we recommend gluing the affected area using a suitable adhesive to prevent movement.

FAQs

Can the tiles be used outdoors?

No. For outdoor use we recommend our Vented Flooring range.

Can tiles be laid over painted, vinyl, or carpeted floors?

Yes, for painted and vinyl. We recommend removing the carpet before installation.

Does the floor need to be dry or degreased first?

No. The tiles can be laid on damp or contaminated surfaces. They’re breathable, and no adhesive is needed.

Can your tiles be used with underfloor heating?

Yes, but switch on the heating and let it reach normal temperature before installing. Lay full tiles first and let them acclimatize for 24 hours before installing the edges.

How much cutting allowance or wastage should I plan for?

Allow 5% extra. Measure accurately and any off cuts can be used elsewhere around your install. Better to over-order slightly - unused tiles can be returned or kept as spares.

Do I need to repair the subfloor first?

Only if there are major cracks or missing concrete. Just sweep or vacuum before installing.

Do I need to use adhesive?

Not usually. The tiles stay in place without glue, but in high-traffic or sun-exposed areas - such as workshop entrances - we recommend gluing a strip across the affected area to prevent movement. The rest of the floor can remain unglued.

What tools are needed to install garage floor tiles?

You’ll need a rubber mallet, tape measure or ruler, a pen and a jigsaw or concave-blade Stanley knife. A guillotine, table saw, or bandsaw also works when cutting tiles.

Can I use a floor jack on Value Garage Floor Tiles?

Yes, for actional use they will compress slightly and return to shape. For professional environments we recommend using our Solid PVC Garage Flooring
